In a recent article by Marketwatch, published on April 10, an interesting premise was presented. Are the current e-cig laws pushing kids toward cigarettes vs. e-cigs? The article argues that because of the increased difficulty in obtaining e-cigs (due to the rise in age limit, restrictions, and cost), teens are turning toward cigarettes because they are cheaper and easier to obtain.
While we at MVG are AGAINST underage smoking or vaping, the article brings up an interesting point for conversation. Are the rules and regulations pushing people (including those of the legal smoking age) to smoke instead of vape?
